Tootsa MacGinty collections are styled exclusively for children, we don’t have separate sections for boys and girls.
Our clothes are bright and cheerful and as colourful as a paintbox. Designed so that kids can run, jump and play and feel comfortable all day long. Riding a bike, scooting along the pavement or whizzing down the slide in the park is easy peasy in Tootsa MacGinty.

Parents appreciate our age appropriate designs and how they stay looking good wash after wash. Supremely practical, our mix and match collections are ideal for layering to suit the temperature and changes in weather, with a range of fabrics, patterns, prints and plains, allowing you to be as creative as you like putting outfits together.

Tootsa MacGinty is a young company where everyone is passionate about what we do. We take pride in sourcing the best fabrics, getting the right fit and designing graphics and motifs in colours that work well together. We work closely with our manufacturer in China and our small family run factories in Portugal. All are registered with SEDEX (Suppliers Ethical Data Exchange) to ensure that they conform to ethical standards. Our aim is to produce beautiful, ethically made, quality childrenswear that children will enjoy wearing and that provide value for money for parents.

Founder Kate’s unique approach to childrenswear
Having worked for over 12 years as a senior designer for international street wear labels, Kate Pietrasik set up Tootsa MacGinty in 2011, with the aim to create a stylish alternative to the traditional boy-girl clothing divide often seen on the high street. Gorgeous, vibrant colours, playful details and quality, hardwearing fabrics were, and remain, at the core of the brand’s values.

I wanted to produce something directional, stylish and exciting which reflected a child’s imagination and the colourful world we live in
says Kate I wanted to offer an alternative to the sea of pinks and blues, whilst also being practical, easy care, quality clothing. A unisex range which doesn’t limit a kid and let’s a child be a child
.
Kate's dedication to the brand has paid off handsomely in 2015 with wins in the UKFT "Best Childrenswear" category and the "Best Junior Fashion Brand" at Loved by Parents!
